Studio Acoustics

Does your studio not sound quite right? Or is your studio still completely empty and you want to add acoustic elements? We will help you with an acoustics measurement with improvement report and studio acoustics design.

Acoustics measurement with improvement report

With an acoustics measurement, we identify areas for improvement in the current acoustics of your room. The measurement reveals how the speakers in the room react, whether there are reflections at the listening position, what the reverberation time is and whether the sound distribution is in order.

With the results of the measurement, we prepare a report with a number of improvement proposals for acoustic elements and (acoustic) finishes. After this, you can get to work yourself or you can let us design the studio acoustics.

Design for studio acoustics

We design the acoustics in your studio according to the purpose for your studio space. After all, a speech booth has a lower reverberation time than a liveroom, for example.

Important elements in this design are the timbre and reverberation time, which of course we fully tune to your needs. We have acoustic products in house and therefore we can always tune and design to your needs and your space.

Materials for studio acoustics

Whether you need diffusion, absorption or peak low-frequency sound control, we have the appropriate acoustical materials for your studio space.

You can optionally have your acoustical materials made with sustainable fabrics from nettle, bamboo, hemp or flax. Old wood, loam and straw are also options to create a rural look, for example.

Absorbers

With absorbers we ensure that there is not (too much) reflection in your studio. These absorbers also have a certain range in the frequency spectrum. Usually we use wideband absorbers, sometimes the somewhat thicker bass traps.

Resonators

Resonators come in various forms such as a panel, membrane or Helmholtz. They are therefore perfect for absorption in smaller studios or studios that are already set up. They "suck up" a narrow-band piece from the frequency spectrum. When the mid and high frequencies are already sufficiently absorbed, the resonator leaves these frequencies untouched.

Diffusers

When the room does suffer from reflections, but is already sufficiently absorbed in proportion and thus the reverberation time is good, we use diffusers to remove reflections. With a diffuser you spread the incident sound so that it is not heard as an annoying by-signal With these diffusers, which always work in a certain spectrum, you can also make the room sound "bigger.
