Film and music fanatics often come to us through the Mutrox website. This can be for custom or standard acoustic solutions. The latter was also the case with Bart from The Hague.

Bart was looking for a home theater. With his set of wishes of speakers, subwoofer, acoustics and aesthetic requirements, Mutrox was quickly contacted. With very specific information from Bart, the Mutrox designers got to work.

Mutrox' designers came up with a nice concept after acoustic measurements and calculations in close consultation with Bart. Because the client wanted to participate in the construction of the home theater himself, standard modules were chosen that he could assemble himself in the room.

After an engineer from Mutrox did a measurement in the room, the amount of diffusers, absorbers and resonators to be installed was mapped out. After the customer determined a color for the acoustics, the acoustic elements were clad and delivered to the customer with installation instructions.

The result can be called very beautiful. In a very short time, a very nice home theater was created in an average basement. By incorporating sufficient bass trapping and absorption in the room, the overall sound image became more stable. Due to the lower reverb time, even the smallest definitions in the film are audible.

The standard acoustics, in the form of absorbers and diffusers, have created an inspiring space that is pleasant to be in. What has worked very well in this room is that these relatively small acoustic adjustments have created a real film experience.

The cooperation with Bart was very good. By searching together for a relatively inexpensive solution, we managed to achieve an impressive result with standard acoustic elements.

Bart is a private customer with very high demands in terms of image and sound. As a home theater enthusiast, he could really only turn to Mutrox for a complete concept.
