Mutrox first considered the best room ratios for control rooms and liverooms for the studio construction. Assigning the right room ratios is necessary to keep build-up frequencies from coinciding. This makes making the room acoustically correct easier than not taking this into account. Choosing a heavy, bend-slack wall construction gives us control over the energy produced in the room. By using a new high-mass wall system, the resonant frequency in walls and ceiling was reduced, bringing the extinction frequency below the hearing range. The result is a high sound insulation value and a correct experience in the room when music is played there. With resonators and an acoustically absorbing ceiling, the room acoustics in the liveroom were arranged flexibly. As a result, Michel is comfortable in the studio.

The result was more than successful. The two studios were realized in three weeks. They have a very high insulation value so that there is no crosstalk between the individual studios. Both studios are acoustically dressed with custom modules suitable for control rooms and liverooms.

The cooperation on this project between Michel and Mutrox was very pleasant. Because we aimed at the highest level, it was inevitable that very impressive recording rooms were realized here.
