New recording studios Creative Sounds Hilversum

Creative Sounds has grown explosively and, in addition to a mix studio for film and an upgrade of their old studios, was also looking for completely new studios.

Since the studio construction of their mix studio for film had just been completed, Patrick and Charlotte again turned to Mutrox for the studio construction of their new studios. After some sparring about colors and room acoustics, Mutrox drew up a plan for the sound insulation and acoustics. After that, visuals were made to show what the new rooms would look like.

Creative Sounds was looking for additional space in the building where they are located due to their explosive growth. When a wing became available on their floor, they did not hesitate for a moment and seized the opportunity to become one of the largest recording facilities for word under picture recording. For the design and studio construction of their studio complex, they asked Mutrox. The new spaces needed to be taken to the highest level in terms of room acoustics and insulation value. The overall "look and feel" also had to match the new corporate identity. Mutrox followed up and realized this.

Patrick and Charlotte, both owners of Creative Sounds, were already doing business with Mutrox for the studio construction of their mix studio for film and the upgrade of their old studios. When they saw the opportunity to greatly expand on their newly leased floor, they asked Mutrox to design a layout for four control rooms and four vocal booths with extremely high insulation values for quiet and clean recordings.

Mutrox first measured the newly hired wing after which the acoustic engineers made the design for the studios. By performing acoustic calculations on the rooms, the acoustic "problems" were identified and a solid plan could be written to build the rooms in a good way. After it was known which acoustic elements had to be placed in each room, visuals were made to see how colors and design could be matched. During the construction of the studios, the acoustics were already made in the Mutrox workshop. This minimized on-site downtime. Despite the significant size of the new wing, space had to be saved in the construction of the studios. To achieve this, Mutrox engineers developed a new studio construction system that guarantees a very high insulation value with less wall thickness. This Hybrid Sound Isolation System is based on a combi of sound insulating wall systems and allows a mutual insulation value between studios of 50 dB(A).

The result was more than successful. The total construction studio of the four control rooms and four vocal booths was completed in three weeks. The rooms have a pleasant look that seamlessly matches the creative minds working there and the company's corporate identity.

The collaboration on this project between Creative Sounds and Mutrox worked synergistically. Because they aimed for the highest level, it was inevitable that very impressive studios were realized.
