AudioRally Sounddesign asked Mutrox for the studio construction and acoustic design of its new studio space. Director Aline Bruijns herself tells how she likes her new studio.

AudioRally Sounddesign, company of Aline Bruijns, exists since 2009 and starts to make more and more name within the audio post production of various media. She works as a sound designer, voice director and is also employed for complete audio post production of films, animations, games and other media. Among other films such as 'Black Water'(2010), 'Free Game' (2010), 'Life is an Art'(2009), 'I wish I could share the happiness of being alone with someone else' (2008), games by company 'My name is Hare' and animations by a.o. Douwe Dijkstra and 33 1/3 already hired the audio expertise of AudioRally Sounddesign.

"When I tied the knot a few months ago to have my new sound design studio professionally tackled and came across Mutrox via an internet search, my interest was piqued immediately," said Aline Bruijns. "A company that not only thinks with you about the best possible and pleasant workplace, but also has the right people to realize that workplace! I contacted them and was invited by Erik and Ronald for an interview during the construction of the Guerilla Games studios in Amsterdam. That was incredibly impressive to see but at the same time I wondered if a 'small' project with a smaller budget was possible. This turned out to be no problem despite, of course, some adjustments. In consultation, we adjusted the space in such a way that any future expansion would still be possible. The space did prove a challenge, as the attic that would be used at three stories high, with very sharp corners and having to build a partition wall, was not the most standard space to tackle. But the men from Mutrox handled this very skillfully. The floor was raised a complete insulated partition wall was constructed. A sound-insulating skylight was installed, there are acoustic panels hanging on the wall in the color of AudioRally Sounddesign and last but not least panels on the ceiling with LED lighting and an insanely functional but also beautiful diffuser. The result is absolutely more beautiful than I had dared to dream. The space is very pleasant to work in, you hear what you are doing and have more control over the end result and when you have to listen at level, at least the house doesn't collapse. I also dare to receive clients in here like this. Despite being a home studio it is absolutely not inferior to any other audio studio. I am very pleased not only with the end result of the studio but also with the work attitude, craftsmanship and incredibly friendly people at Mutrox. If I could expand in the future I definitely know where to find Mutrox again."

With these words of praise from Aline we conclude another beautiful and hugely enjoyable project. Aline welcomed and looked after the Mutrox construction team hospitably during the construction of the studio for which the men are very grateful. Now another year on, we are still in contact with Aline and we see beautiful projects of hers coming out of her workspace.
