New owner for studio and home theater specialist Mutrox
Sale shares lifts technical knowledge av to even higher level.
As of November 1, Mutrox, the specialist in studios and home cinemas, has a new owner. Ronald Boelsma takes over, bringing 14 years of specialist knowledge in the field of audio, video and IT systems for luxury superyachts and villas. This, combined with Mutrox's 15 years of experience, strengthens the company's position as a unique player in the home cinema and studio construction market.
Few players are active in the high-end audiovisual segment. Clients want only the best of the best and true professionals are scarce. Ronald Boelsma explains, "Mutrox is the top player in this niche market and we have done many projects together. When clients wanted an av-installation for a home cinema, Mutrox was often the party to design and build the cinema. Because we have the same passion for music and film as well as the same high standards for the quality of sound and acoustics for home audio and home cinemas, we found each other more and more often."
Intensive cooperation
Boelsma has already supported Mutrox over the past two years in the growth of the company and the execution of projects. The next step in this cooperation, the takeover of Mutrox, therefore went very naturally. "We are on the same wavelength and with the acquisition we combine unique knowledge in the field of av systems with acoustics and the construction of studios and home cinemas. We are ready to take our projects to an even higher level and strengthen our position in the market," concluded Boelsma. Mutrox's current clients will also benefit. From now on, Boelsma's knowledge and network will also be fully available for Mutrox projects. "From the very first moment, we can integrate av solutions into the design of a studio or home theater."
Office and showroom in Numansdorp
Boelsma already holds offices in the Mutrox building in Numansdorp. As of November, several specialists from his network will also join the team. In the showroom on the Veerweg, they will join forces with Mutrox employees. The current management of Mutrox will remain closely involved in the company's projects and development in the coming years as advisors.
Product development
Mutrox is acoustic partner of several well-known speaker brands and develops concepts and integration solutions for them. With the contributed knowledge and experience of Boelsma and his team, new opportunities will arise and concept and product development will get a boost. The first ideas are already on the drawing board.
